Idaho - Sunday, 20th

Josh and Elizabeth were helping out at a senior home for church today.  So we thought it would be fun to go with them.  Josh blessed the sacrament, and Elizabeth led the music.  After the meeting, Dad, Josh, and Dallin gave a blessing to one of the residents.  So glad we could be there!

Jayna and Dallin are having fun being together again.

Playing "In Reverse," and laughing hysterically.

Elizabeth made us a wonderful Sunday dinner.
And Josh made us a wonderful Sunday beverage.

Then we went for a nice Sunday drive to Mesa Falls.
We all wanted to drive in the same car--so Jayna called for the "trunk" of the car so she could lay down and take a nap.

But she wasn't the only one taking a nap!

Thank goodness Dad stayed awake!

Lower Mesa Falls.

When we returned from Mesa Falls, Jayna had to pack up and head back to AFY.
We also had a wonderful time Facetiming with Ty, Michelle, and the girls.

Last night while we were playing Rummikub, Joshua called Elizabeth from work and told her he couldn't find his wedding ring.  He couldn't remember the last time he had it on.  So we checked the pictures we took of him and Dallin playing basketball in the morning.  He didn't have his ring on in those pictures.  So he wondered if he lost it the night before at his ultimate frisbee game.  So tonight we went back to the field and looked around.

And look who found Josh's ring!!!
It was our own little miracle!

Sunday evening we went back to Josh and Elizabeth's apartment.
Elizabeth made us yummy chocolate chip cookies.
(Dad and Dallin are testing the dough!)
And we watched Ephraim's Rescue.

  1. No way. How did you ever, ever, ever find that ring? That's amazing.

This sounds like such a great, great trip.

  2. So fun. Is the senior home thing a calling?

And I'm with Jane. I am amazed you find Josh's ring. Way to go Elizabeth!!! Now you'll always have that "Hey, remember that one time when I gave you your wedding ring for the second time?" blackmail. ;-)
