Sunday, November 21st, 2021

Brian:  Taking a little nap after a long stake conference weekend.

Kathy:  Enjoying some "old people candy" after both Dad and I talked in stake conference.

Ty:  Darren came to help us out for awhile yesterday.

Michelle:  We got together with some friends from our time in Mississippi.

Afton:  It was fun playing with some old friends from Mississippi.

Eliza:  I like fish.

Kathryn:  When we lived in Mississippi, these girls and I were just toddlers.

Calvin:  No one can punch me when I have my Captain America shield.

Josh:  Enjoying the fire!  Guess how many marshmallows are in Ellie's mouth?

Elizabeth:  Enjoying scotcharoos on a Sunday night.

Layla:  Just climbing trees barefoot in the dark!

Ellie:  Chillin' with Mom after church waiting for choir to be over.

Joseph:  Although it's no fun to be all sick, it's been heaven cuddling the babies this weekend.

Jayna:  Starting Thanksgiving week off strong with some pumpkin bread!  If I look exhausted, it's because I am.  Our whole little family has been sick this week.

William:  "I know you guys can see me!  Come get me out of my crib!"

Nora:  I'm not letting William get away with the toy that I want!

Dallin:  Salmon Sunday!  Marx always thinks he is going to get some.

Courtney:  My friend Kelly and I threw a successful friendsgiving yesterday!  It was a blast!

Benson:  Dad make a joke in Sunday School, so I woke up and cried after the punchline.  So I just read my book after that.

Brian:  I got to attend the Stake Relief Society Meeting with Kathy.

Kathy:  This is my Stake Relief Society presidency, standing for a picture, 

after our Stake Relief Society Meeting was over.

Ty:  Scraping popcorn ceilings.  It's all we did on the 19th - 21st.

Michelle:  Michelle "Scrape it Off" Payne.

Afton:  Burgers, tots, and shakes from a nearby restaurant.

Eliza:  Aunt Cali sent Dad to Texas with a bouncy house.

We got to use it today while Mom and Dad scraped ceilings.

Kathryn:  Kathryn "Fender Bender" Payne.

Calvin:  Calvin "Leaf it to Me" Payne.

Josh:  Just a lame selfie at work.  

I did recently get an award for being awesome though.

Elizabeth:  When you want to work out but your legs are cold.

Layla:  I always have the most accessories.

Ellie:  Pretending to go to ballet class!

Joseph:  I got the COVID booster in my left arm and the flu shot

in my right today.  I'm sore all over!

Jayna:  Enjoying some ice cream and Blacklist after getting the babies to bed.  

William:  Standing at the couch is my new favorite pastime.

I'm still working on keeping my balance.

Nora:  I heard Mom start to unload the dishwasher, 

and I was determined to beat William there to help her.  

Dallin:  Watching the Broncos game!

Courtney:  Benson's first nap of the day is always on our walk!

Benson:  I woke up happy this morning!

Brian:  Off to my Tuesday evening Stake Presidency interviews and meetings.

Kathy:  Say hello to the newest employee at Parker Insurance!

Ty:  We're going to miss this house and our time in Germany.

Michelle:  Getting all our luggage to the Temporary Lodging Facility.

Afton:  Our house looks so empty!

Eliza:  I'm going to miss playing with the Powells--especially at the Secret Martinshohe Park.

Kathryn:  Playing at our temporary house!

Calvin:  I carried my driver's license from Legoland all over Europe the past six weeks.  I'm not about to leave it in Germany.  It's coming with me!

Josh:  When you're tired but also have to find the right stain for the floating shelves you're making.

Elizabeth:  Prayers are extra special when I can snuggle my girls during them.

Layla:  Making silly faces during shower time!

Ellie:  My very first self portrait.  I showed it to everyone in the ballet studio.

Joseph:  I can't take pictures while I'm in the clinic for the drug study, but I went out for pizza and wings last night before I checked in this morning.

Jayna:  I think we're entering the separation anxiety stage.  I tried to leave the babies in the living room for a minute so I could go get dinner in the oven.

William:  I love getting a shower in the sink after eating dinner!

Nora:  I really enjoyed sucking on a bell pepper slice while mom got dinner ready.

Dallin:  8.5 mile run after my first exam this semester.  Planning on a half marathon next year!

Courtney:  Benson gets three outfits a day, and I get the same outfit for three days!

Benson:  I had my first blowout today!
