Brian:  Another great night at Institute!

Kathy:  Any day is a great day to go to the temple!

Ty:  I've been reading The Great Brain over FaceTime to Calvin sometimes when I'm in Seattle.  But nothing beats being home!

Michelle:  Jayna told us Wendy's brought back Thin Mint Frostys.

So obviously we had to get some for dinner.

Afton:  Impromptu lip sync party!

Eliza:  Wendy's for dinner!

Kathryn:  Re-creating an old favorite video during the lip sync party.

Calvin:  About to nerf gun duel with my friend Wells at our Valiant Activity.

Josh:  Family swim lessons.

Elizabeth:  Home from teaching yoga.

Layla:  Ready for swim lessons.

Ellie:  Ready for swim lessons.

Carter:  Free breakfast at Chick-fil-A today.

Mom let me use a knife and I was in heaven.

Cooper:  I loved playing at the Chick-fil-A play place today!

Joseph:  Splitting work days between the wonderful chaos at home

and the focus I get working in this empty office in Idaho Falls.

Jayna:  It's a good thing I love my laundry room, 

because I sure spend a lot of time in here!

William:  I'm obsessed with sticker by numbers books.

I could work on them for hours!

Nora:  "Resting" in my corner.

I've had a cold and keep insisting I need to rest (aka: watch movies).

TJ:  Here I am in an AI rendering of my mom's idea for our big extra closet.

(I wouldn't get out of the way for her to take a picture of the empty closet.)

Dallin:  Ironically, I'm going into work to help eyes.

Courtney:  Making taco soup for dinner!

Benson:  My favorite part of the day is when Dad gets home

and we get to play!

Brian:  Nursing a cold AND watching BYU basketball at the same time!

Kathy:  I got to pick up Nora from preschool today.

Ty:  I've been getting into making sourdough lately, 

thanks to the cinnamon chips!

Michelle:  We've come a long way in the last year.  This game was more fun and less stressful than when we played it in Rexburg last April.

Afton:  Mom didn't get a picture of me until I was getting ready for bed.

Eliza:  6:37 p.m.

Kathryn:  Love me some Seahawks ice cream.

Calvin:  I taught our Family Night lesson.

We learned about all the generations in Genesis 5, how old everyone was, and who could have met each other while they were on earth.

Josh:  Family pic at the aquarium.

Elizabeth:  Visiting the aquarium today while my mom is in town.

Layla:  Enjoying the Denver Aquarium!

Ellie:  I loved watching the baby otters with their mama.

Carter:  Is that a shark??

Cooper:  I'm an astronaut, aka deep sea diver.

Joseph:  Check out my battery organization!  

3D printing has taken over my life.

Jayna:  Trying out my new teeth whitener. 

I don't know if the lights actually do anything, but they're kind of fun!

William:  I helped TJ get all dressed up in this special costume!

Nora:  Lately this is how my parents find me most of the time--

listening to my Yoto and looking through books.

TJ:  I was bound and determined to make sure my mom didn't get anything done all day today.  Mission accomplished.

Dallin:  I didn't get a picture of me, 

but I have been working on creating Willie the Dog pictures with AI.

Courtney:  I rubbed my eye too hard last night. . . 

Benson:  I got to play on this blow-up caterpillar this morning!

Christmas Day, 25 December 2025

Brian:  TJ got woken up Christmas morning--so he wasn't quite ready to join in the festivities and needed a little snuggle time with Grandpa.

Kathy:  Team Nice!

Ty:  Look what Santa's elves built for us!

Michelle:  I am SO excited about our new power washer!

Afton:  One of my cousins gave me an office supplies/desk organization set. 

They know me!

Eliza:  Balancing on my new Giboard while reading the 

Harry Potter trivia book from Grandma and Grandpa.  

I spent most of the day with both.

Kathryn:  Afton made this wood burning for me in art class!

Calvin:  Eliza and Kathryn gave me a stuffed sloth that 

I've named Sister Sloth, and she rarely leaves my side.

Josh:  Christmas snuggles in our blanket from the Cannons.

Elizabeth:  Instantly regretting the peer pressure to put fake nails on.

Layla:  All the girls with their fake nails!

Ellie:  Tackling Layla with the biggest hug to say thank you

for the fake nails she got me.

Carter:  I got to play a sheep in the Nativity today.

Cooper:  Had to take a break after opening some Christmas presents.

Jayna:  We had a wonderful Christmas!

William:  My favorite present was this remote control Gecko.  

I named him Martin.

Nora:  My favorite present was the Paw Patrol aircraft carrier.

I've been asking for it for months.

TJ;  My favorite present was a new pack of binkies!

Dallin:  I didn't get any pictures of me on Christmas Day.

Courtney:  Christmas dinner.
