Saturday, June 20th, 2020

Brian:  I was able to go on a lot of bike rides while we were in Utah!

Kathy:  Visiting my Dad--Corona style!

Ty:  I planned date night this week.  It was Properly Planned Prior to the event.  Pizza in a Park in Pirmasens, where we also Played on the Playground, and Prioritized and Planned for future Potential trips Prior to leaving Europe.  It was Perfect.

Michelle:  My Mother's Day gift finally came in, and we had a great bike ride today!

Afton:  The trail we rode today was so pretty.  I told Mom she HAD to take a picture!

Eliza:  First I tried to fix my bike chain.  Then my nose itched.

Kathryn:  Riding bikes makes me happy!

Calvin:  Look Mom!  No hands!

Josh:  Family swim time!

Elizabeth:  Picking some plums fresh off the tree!

Layla:  So tired and snuggling Dad on the way home after a fun day.  #nofilter

Ellie:  We found some wild blackberries on our family run this morning.  I really enjoyed them.

Joseph:  Happy future Father's Day to me!

Jayna:  This is the lot that the Cannon house is going to be built on.  We're moving to Lake Point, Utah, next year!!

Dallin:  We went paddle boarding today, and it was packed!  It was fun--we haven't paddle boarded for about a year!

Courtney:  It was a hot day, so it felt good to be on the water!

Wednesday, May 20th, 2020

Brian:  Because of the Coronavirus, Mom is now cutting my hair.  This is my post-haircut vacuuming.

Kathy:  For the past week I've been sewing 100 protective masks.

Ty:  I love letting the girls explore when we hike.  Unfortunately that usually means more ticks.

Michelle:  It's shoulder day!

Afton:  I went out for a run with Dad.

Eliza:  I wanted to run with Dad after I saw Afton do it.

Kathryn:  Eliza has been reading scriptures (a storybook of Bible stories) to me at night.

Calvin:  Just trying to "catch the girls" on a hike.

Josh:  Sanding between top coats.  Almost done with another table flip!

Elizabeth:  Finished 7 Habits today!  Feeling accomplished despite the fact that I'm three years behind on the Christmas books.

Layla:  I love climbing trees!

Ellie:  Tea party with Layla!

Joseph:  Due to the Rona, I've picked up a nerdy hobby with my friends, Dungeons and Dragons!

Jayna:  I'm pregnant!

Dallin:  I forgot to take a picture of the Zoom meeting with my OSU Optometry class, so I took this one on the 21st instead.  My last day at Dominos after 3 1/2 years there!

Courtney:  Celebrating!!!

Brian:  Going on a bike ride with my new bike!

Kathy:  One of my goals this year is to practice the piano four days each week.  I'm really enjoying it!  So I don't know why I'm not smiling.  Maybe I'm concentrating really hard!

Ty:  I love FaceTiming with family, especially when something hits Kathy just right.

Michelle:  I've been making masks for our Relief Society to donate.

Afton:  Floss dance off with Mom.

Eliza:  Just hanging out on the top of our tree.

Kathryn:  I had an encounter with some stinging nettle on our walk, so Afton offered me a piggy back ride.

Calvin:  Tonight Dad taught the girls how to floss their teeth.  I was not to be left out.

Josh:  The girls always want to go for a ride when I get home from work.  You should see Ellie drive . . . it's scary.

Elizabeth:  Teaching Layla the art of flower crowns.

Layla:  I insisted that we go play in the flower meadows tonight as a family.  I loved it.  

Ellie:  I love celery!  I chose to eat it instead of popcorn and goldfish, and I was sad when it was all gone.

Joseph:  Easter candy tastes better when it's half priced.

Jayna:  Another day, another shift of Covid-19 screenings.

Dallin:  Last first day at BYU-Idaho!

Courtney:  Playing Toontown and getting some steps!

Friday, March 20th, 2020

Things got crazy in March because of the Coronavirus.

So the adults included a favorite meme, along with their picture!

Brian:  Because of the Coronavirus, all BYU-I classes have been moved online.  

So I get to teach class in our home.

Kathy:  Since we have to stay home, we're getting lots of organizing projects done!  This is all the stuff that will be heading to Deseret Industries!

 

 Ty:  I taught the kids about bike maintenance this week.

We successfully changed Afton's flat tire.

 

Michelle:  Dreaming about what almost was.

Afton:  I love when Calvin snuggles with me.

Eliza:  Enjoying PE with Coach Dad.

We went on a hike and completed several challenges.

Kathryn:  My preschool teacher sent me some supplies to help me learn about the letter S.

Calvin:  The result of one of my many tantrums.

Josh:  Couples yoga for date night!

 

Elizabeth:  Today we participated in a chalk festival.  Everyone in our neighborhood drew pictures to bring joy to everyone, and then we got to drive around and look at everyone else's.  

Layla:  Today I practiced my ABCs.

I miss preschool, but Mom is doing an ok job I guess.

 

Ellie:  My first time dunking Oreos!  I'm a natural.

Joseph:  This is now where I spend at least 9 hours of my day, nice setup eh?

Jayna:  I look forward all week to my Friday afternoon nap.

Dallin:  Figuring out how to do online classes with such a great view!

Courtney:  Corona can't stop me from killing some weeds!
