Thursday, October 24th, 2024

Brian:  Look what I gave Mom to start off the Nuggets' season.  Unfortunately, it was NOT a good start!

Kathy:  I enjoyed lunch with some of my friends.

As usual, I brought home leftovers!

Ty:  Can't beat root beer floats with root beer ice cream!

Michelle:  So studious.

Afton:  I chopped off my hair to donate to Wigs for Kids.

Eliza:  Playing Sardines.  I'm on the bottom.  

Kathryn:  It's nice to be back in the States

 where Costco pizza slices don't have strange things on them.

Calvin:  I was in charge of Come Follow Me tonight.  We talked about how to help each other not become lost to Heavenly Father (3 Nephi 27:30-31), and then we played Sardines.

Josh:  Celebrating Ellie's birthday!

Elizabeth:  Supervising the girls making custom tote bags for Ellie's birthday.

Layla:  On your mark!  About to compete in the 25m butterfly, my favorite.

Ellie:  I had a fantastic birthday party with all my friends today.

Carter:  Climbing on my dad.

Cooper:  Posing for a picture with my brother.

"Touchdown!"  Recently, Nora has been my football-watching buddy.

Jayna:  We've been enjoying nice evenings outside while we still can.

William:  Dad was tired after work, 

so we got him a pillow and blanket and then decided to join him.

Nora:  I like watching Mom exercise,

and I frequently join her for her stretching afterward. 

TJ:  I'm just happy to be here!

Dallin:  Trick or treating on base.  

Guess what color dog Courtney was.

Courtney:  I went to a witches tea as a sparkle witch!

I had sparkles on my face and arms, too.

Benson:  Hey.

Sarah Jane:  Really starting to walk this week!

Marx:  I learned how to get out of the backyard and explore.

Ever since, I can no longer be naked.

Brian:  My shoulder was finally cleared to swim, so I went to the BYU-I pool this morning at 5:00 am!  It felt great!

Kathy:  It was a beautiful day!

So I had to drop everything and go on a bike ride.

Ty:  Enjoying the many stairs of Jiufen.  I feel like I could spend a month exploring here and only get to walk on half of the stairs.  (Side note: It'd be really fun to play paintball or airsoft here!)

Michelle:  My favorite place for my morning walk is by this park.

There are older folks out exercising in the morning in various ways.

This morning I saw this group with swords!

Afton:  I have a weird thing with wanting fish to bite my finger.

I was thrilled to find these giant ones in the National Palace Museum gardens.

Eliza:  I thought this jade room divider at the National Palace Museum was pretty neat.

Kathryn:  Learning about Buddha at the National Palace Museum.

Calvin:  The Jadeite Cabbage was not on display today due to some renovations,

so this cardboard cutout was the best we could do.

Josh:  Wrestling with my boys when I get home from work.

Elizabeth:  Tuesday night HIGH Fitness and matching with Noelle.

Layla:  Swim team practice with my friend!

Ellie:  Doing some dolphin research for the book I'm writing.

Carter:  I love playing with these 3 balls.

They stick to the ceiling,

and when they fall I have a little dance party.

Cooper:  I don't like crawling on the grass.

Joseph:  Flu shot day.  I'm a bleeder!

Jayna:  Started up High Fitness again for the first time in over a year.

It kicked my butt, but it was lots of fun!

William:  I love having a baby brother!

Nora:  This is how I spent most of my soccer practice,

despite my mom's best efforts to get me to play.

TJ:  I'm already learning to share my things with my brother and sister.

Dallin:  Painted a surprised ghost.

Courtney:  Benson's been into selfies lately, 

and I always love seeing what's on my phone after.

Benson:  Sarah Jane wanted a bite of my ice cream.

Sarah Jane:  I got blood drawn this morning.

I'm tough though and didn't cry.

Brian:  Stopped at Craters of the Moon on our way home from Boise.

Kathy:  Morning walk on the Boise River Greenbelt before heading home.

Ty:  A re-creation of a photo from 16 years ago with a slight twist.

This is the Wang family at a Stake activity.

Michelle:  Feeling like a dummy getting pampered for my knee "injury" 

playing basketball at our Stake Sports Day.

Afton:  I bought a good luck Taiwanese jade necklace at the Holiday Jade Market.

Eliza:  Riding bikes in Taipei.  I love uBikes!

Kathryn:  Doing pull-ups on the nearly empty train in the morning.

Calvin:  Explaining rules to my balloon game at the church.

I'm not sure they understand.

Josh:  Family trip to the Exploratorium!

Elizabeth:  Getting whipped in the face by a bunch of lightbulb chains.

Layla:  Someone took 50 years to make this San Francisco sculpture out of toothpicks!

Ellie:  We made posters to cheer for our friend.

He had an Aussie Rules football game on Treasure Island.

Carter:  I had an absolute blast on the swing with my Dad today.

Cooper:  Keeping busy drinking water waiting for our food to come.

Joseph:  Having three kids is exhausting.

Jayna:  In my soccer mom era.

William:  Water break!

Nora:  I've been really into dress up lately, 

but I refuse to wear any princess dresses.

I prefer my astronaut, Spider-man, or cow costumes.

TJ:  This is my very favorite way to sleep--

snuggled up on Mom's side against the couch.

Dallin:  Celebrating Courtney's birthday with some friends!

Courtney:  Birthday cupcake!

Benson:  I love birthdays!

Sarah Jane:  I love farmers markets.
