A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages

Sunday, April 23rd, 2023

Brian:  Participating in a Zoom meeting with my family as we discuss some health options for my dad.

Kathy:  Finally relaxing after a long Sunday,
which included our last ward conference.

. . . and then we got a little loopy!

Ty:  Playing the Noratar.

Michelle: Enjoying a nice quiet house during church today.  I had planned to go since I'm allowed to hold my head upright again following eye surgery.  But I stayed home because I now have strep.

Afton:  Mom's pretty bad at taking pictures right now.  So this came from a friend on the 22nd.  The Lindgren's took us to a carnival put on by their Stake.  The snow cones were great!

Eliza: Mom's pretty bad at taking pictures right now.  So this came from a friend on the 22nd.  The Lindgren's took us to a carnival put on by their Stake.
There was a petting zoo!

Kathryn:  Riding Norilla!

Calvin:  My mom says I'm a goof!

Josh:  Planting our strawberry patch as a family.

Elizabeth:  The strawberry patch that I supervised the planting of.

Layla:  I gave an excellent talk in Primary today about the Good Samaritan.

Ellie:  Playing in the car with my sister!

Joseph:  It's always a treat when I get to snuggle my little darling.

Jayna: William did a great job styling my hair for me.

William:  Dance party!

Nora:  I was so excited to finally meet Kathryn!

Dallin:  Can't wait to race Benson when he is old enough!

Courtney:  Got the mac and cheese burger at Guy Fieri's Flavortown!

Benson:  I'm a mini golf pro!

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages

Thursday, March 23rd, 2023

Brian:  Just relaxing and icing after my eye surgery.

Kathy:  It was fun having Mom come with me
when I spoke at another ward's Relief Society Meeting tonight.

Ty:  March Madness with Michelle.

Michelle:  I love FaceTiming with the Cannons.
Can you find the twins?

Afton:  Driving up to Spider Mountain for a fun couple of days.

Eliza:  I love riding down Spider Mountain!

Kathryn:  Due to a miscommunication, I ended up riding a chair lift by myself the entire way once.  (Not actual footage--just a recreation.)

Calvin:  I love riding down Spider Mountain with Dad.

Josh:  I love to see the temple!

Elizabeth:  I got to go on a field trip with Layla today!

Layla:  I went on a field trip today and saw a play about Corduroy the bear.
I was laughing the whole time!  This is my best friend Angelie.

Ellie:  I got to have a play date with my friend Elly today.
I got to make my own flavored soda with pebble ice!

Joseph:  Eating Five Guys while watching March Madness.
Life couldn't get any better!

Jayna:  It was a kinda rough day,
but I feel better after a long shower and a bowl of ice cream.

William:  Helping daddy install the drawer pulls on the entertainment center!

Nora:  I got my emotional support paper towels!
They got me through a lot this evening.

Dallin:  I put together an event for Sports Vision Club and had a contact lens company come that makes tinted lenses for athletes.
I have grey-green in one eye and amber in the other.

Courtney:  Chick-fil-A after Benson got his shots!

Benson:  I love playing in the front seat!

Bonus Entry!  Grandma Apple:  Enjoying doing puzzles while I'm here in Idaho.

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages

Thursday, February 23rd, 2023

Brian:  I took our department out for a nice dinner at Stockman's Restaurant.  I'm trying not to be shocked at the bill!

Kathy:  I got a piece of chocolate cake to go.
I was shocked when they handed me a huge tin!

Ty:  I learned to cut mats in high school and have always loved it.  At work we got a last minute tasking to get an unexpected retirement gift ready for someone.  After my coworkers struck out at a few places due to high costs and turn times, I said I could take care of it.  I found the frame in the “oops” section at Michael’s (that saved me a lot of time and money), found a blueprint shop to scan and reprint the artwork for pennies, cut the mats, got the glass cut at the frame shop for $10, and assembled it all.  My turn around time was less than 24 hours and the cost was about 25% of the quoted price.  It was fun to do this again.

Michelle:  I've been working hard on my health this last month.
Had another killer workout today.

Afton:  We finally managed to have Family Night on Thursday.
I love the treat of ice cream!

Eliza:  Kathryn and Calvin danced while I played "You Don't Know You're Beautiful" on the piano.

Kathryn:  Mom snagged a new game at a RS activity last night.
It's actually pretty fun!

Calvin:  I love to create!

Josh:  My sharp shootin qualified me as a Level 4 Scout for Galactic Alliance.

Elizabeth:  Sorry for my obscene hand gesture.  I was just trying to show off my jalapeno pretzel that took me several tries to obtain.

Layla:  Nothing better than Minnie Mouse ears and churros with your sister at Disneyland.

Ellie:  How my day started.  How my day ended.

Joseph:  Carpet is being installed tomorrow.  When did we get all this stuff?

Jayna:  Slowly but surely, our entertainment center is coming together!

William:  Nothing better than chocolate milk in the morning.  And afternoon.
And evening.  And anytime, really.  I ask for "more milk" all day long.

Nora:  I love the snow but hate the wind.

Dallin:  Benson thought I was the coolest dad out there.

Courtney:  Teaching Benson the best ice cream flavor--graham central station.

Benson:  I loved seeing all the animals at the zoo!
