A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages

Sunday, February 21st, 2021

Brian:  Just kickin back, enjoying a healthy snack, and watching the first episode of Relative Race!

Kathy:  My favorite part of Sunday--doing Come, Follow Me with Dad.

Ty:  Sometimes it's good to be reminded of how little they still are.

Michelle:  A belated celebration dinner with my Valentine.

Afton:  I really enjoyed playing with Marlennie while her mom had a baby this weekend.

Eliza:  It would appear I was reading a book upside-down by the glow of a nightlight when I fell asleep.

Kathryn:  I'm a pretty good waitress.  Meeting people's needs so quickly they can't even snap a clear picture.

Calvin:  Taking a bath with my 15-month-old friend Marlennie.

Josh:  Checking out the progress on our house.  Ellie's not happy I took her binky away.

Elizabeth:  I love our Sunday tradition of checking in on our house and playing at the park.

Layla:  I'm crying because "I'm so happy to have my house being built."

Ellie:  I love the zip line at the park

Joseph:  One of my favorite parts of my day is getting some good snuggles with my baby girl.

Jayna:  Going through 0-3 month clothes because, much to my dismay, my babies are getting too big for their newborn clothes.

William:  I make the best facial expressions.

Nora:  I'm a strong, independent baby girl trying really hard to learn how to hold my bottle all by myself.

Dallin:  Made brownies for our neighbors for helping me push my car out the other day.

Courtney:  Dallin and I made homemade sourdough pizza for dinner!

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Page Family

Welcome to the blog, William and Nora!

Thursday, January 21st, 2021

Brian:  Just kickin' back after a long day.

Kathy:  I visited another ward's Relief Society Meeting, and look what I made!

Ty:  Ice cream makes everything better!

Michelle:  The kids and I have spent the last two days (plus various hours beforehand) at a friend’s house overseeing their move back to the States. They had to leave in a hurry for a child’s emergency surgery. The movers finished loading the truck at 5pm today and we are thrilled to have that behind us.

Afton:  We’ve spent the last two days in a progressively emptier house without our own stuff. We did some school, but I preferred the movies Mom downloaded to the iPad.

Eliza:  Mom tried to keep me inside the house and out of the way of the movers, and mostly succeeded. Except when I disappeared outside for awhile and started a new collection.

Kathryn:  Moving is fun when you’re only in charge of your royal subjects, not the movers or paperwork or any of the stuff.

Calvin:  We had leftovers for dinner tonight. I didn’t like any of the options, so I took matters into my own hands and asked Mom simply to open it for me. My tears are from a combination of Mom telling me “no,” and everyone laughing at my selection.

Josh:  Look what I got today!!!

Elizabeth:  Walking to the park with my two best girlfriends.

Layla:  I'm very proud of this necklace I made all by myself!

Ellie:  Rocking some sweet shades.

Joseph:  I have barely survived the past two weeks with no internet--today we finally got internet.  I'm a happy man!

Jayna:  Feeding babies with Grandma Marci!

William:  Getting some good stretches after a long afternoon nap.

Nora:  Contrary to popular belief, I do have two eyeballs.

Dallin:  Long day of getting my weekly COVID test, going to Courtney's appointment, and my first day in clinic actually working with patients (not learning on Zoom)!

Courtney:  Who knew something so small could make you so sick??   Elizabeth, probably.

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages

Sunday, December 20, 2020

Brian:  Getting ready to do a temple recommend interview on Zoom!

Kathy:  Enjoying a quiet Sunday morning by the fire reading some Conference talks.

Ty:  I had the opportunity to visit Stonehenge during my recent trip to the UK during a down day.  It wasn't life altering, but definitely fun to visit.

Michelle:  Singing "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" in our church worship service.

Afton:  Our family worked together to create some cinnamon roll cookies for The Great Corona Cookie Competition.

Eliza:  I'm wondering why my helmet feels so weird.

Kathryn:  Our family ate 14 different cookies acting as judge for The Great Corona Cookie Contest.

Calvin:  Ready for home church with Dad!

Josh:  We were supposed to have dinner with some friends tonight, but right before we got there Ellie threw up all over herself in the car.  We had a fun time cleaning it up and then turning around and going home.

Elizabeth:  Decorating the Christmas tree with reindeer ornaments Layla and I made together.

Layla:  Conquered the jungle gym that's supposedly only for kids age 5+.

Ellie:  When you have to leave the house but forgot to put your makeup on.

Joseph:  Beef jerky is a favorite holiday treat of mine.  We'll see how long this pound of dried meat lasts.

Jayna:  It's my favorite sacrament meeting of the year!  We typically participate in our sacrament meeting at home over Zoom, but we decided to actually go today for the Christmas program.

Dallin:  Sunday afternoon walk!

Courtney:  This is how almost every night ends these days.  Can't complain!
