A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages
Saturday, January 19th, 2019

Brian:  Enjoying dinner at the Red Rabbit!  (Mom, Dallin, and Courtney were there, too!)

Kathy:  I'm priming the drawers for our dresser makeover!

Ty:  My favorite part of the day.  (Ty is in Africa!)

Michelle:  Just talking to Ty.

Afton:  Today I learned what the term "snaggle tooth" means.

Eliza:  Today I told my mom that she needed to give me a graham cracker because it was the only thing that would make me happy.  If she didn't, I would never stop crying and I would cry all night so she couldn't sleep and in the morning she would be so tired so she would just want to sleep and then we would be late to church.  Well, that didn't pan out.

Kathyrn:  How come the littlest is always the guinea pig?

Calvin:  American Ninja Warrior

Josh:  Powdered sugar noses from the pastry we ate this morning!

Elizabeth:  Reading books with Layla before bed!

Layla:  I stole Dad's money and put it in my own wallet!

Ellie:  I have to have a towel by my head so I don't get torticollis.

Joseph:  I thought I'd try walking on the treadmill this morning--I loved it!

Jayna:  We came to Rexburg so I could help mom refinish her dresser.

Dallin:  Playing some intense games of Rampage with Joseph!

Courtney:  I love playing Spot It!

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages
Tuesday, December 18th, 2018

Brian:  I helped put together packages of leftover food after our ward Christmas party.  I'm taking this container to a family in our ward.

Kathy:  I snuck away from decorating our church for our ward Christmas party to go cross country skiing for an hour!

Ty:  I've been using spin class to stay in biking shape while the roads are too slippery.  I meant to take a picture of me--but forgot.  But here's my bike settings!

Michelle:  Apparently all our play room needed was some rugs we found rolled up in the garage attic and an art desk.  And now the kids actually play up there.

Afton:  I can't sleep and (because?) I want to know what happens next to Henry Huggins.

Eliza:  I'll be honest, Dad comes up with and executes the best hair styles.

Kathryn:  I love helping in the kitchen, especially when I get to flip the pancakes.

Calvin:  I can play with the presents, as long as I don't rip off the paper.

Josh:  Selfies with my girls!

Elizabeth:  We were so busy getting ready to leave, I forgot to take a picture of myself yesterday.  But we made it on the airplane early this morning and had an easy flight to Utah!

Layla:  I always want to lay by my little sister.

Ellie:  I just woke up from a great nap!

Joseph:  Enjoying being fully settled in our new apartment.

Jayna:  I got some new cozy slipper socks from one of my coworkers!

Dallin:  Just finishing up finals and papers.

Courtney:  Playing with my favorite bud (Dallas) under the Christmas tree!

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life of the Pages
Thursday, November 22nd, 2018
(In lieu of taking pictures on the 18th, we took pictures on Thanksgiving day!)

Brian:  I'm thankful to be holding baby Ellie on my tummy.

Kathy:  I'm grateful I got to make a turkey hat with Layla.

Ty:  I'm grateful for my children.  They certainly bring chaos, but they bring so much joy.  It is an honor to parent Afton, Eliza, Kathryn, and Calvin with Michelle.

Michelle:  I'm thankful we got our shipment yesterday and that after 7 months, I can finally sleep in my own bed.

Afton:  I'm thankful to have my own bed in my own room.

Eliza:  I'm thankful that Mom put the covers over me after taking this picture.

Kathryn:  I'm thankful for good friends who had us over for Thanksgiving dinner and play time, and wore me out.

Calvin:  I'm grateful that Eliza drops lots of food on the floor.

Josh:  I'm thankful for turkeys--I smoked my first one today, and it was delicious!

Elizabeth:  I'm so thankful for this little family of mine!

Layla:  I'm thankful for green beans.  I helped snap them today!

Ellie:  I'm grateful for nap time with my mom after our Thanksgiving meal.

Joseph:  I'm thankful for having Thanksgiving with a wonderful family!

Jayna:  I'm thankful for Joseph and for a fun Thanksgiving in Colorado!

Dallin:  I'm grateful for a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Tenneys!

Courtney:  I'm grateful for Black Friday shopping with cousins and for Christmas!

A Day in the LIfe

A Day in the Life of the Pages
Thursday, October 18th, 2018

Brian:  Since Mom left me alone, I went to the temple after work.

Kathy:  I'm really enjoying spending some time with my dad in Utah.  I came so my mom could get away for a few days with Krissy to St. George.

Ty:  "Can't get the remote" is much better than watching TV.

Michelle:  My view after picking up Afton from school.

Afton:  When Mom left the dinner table to bathe Calvin, she told Eliza and I (Dad and Kathryn weren’t home) to pretend to be waitresses. When she came back, she discovered that we were also the bussers, the dishwashers, and the custodians. She was so surprised and grateful!

Kathryn:  Donos!!!

Calvin:  I am now a social eater. If someone else is eating, I want some. Mom has tried to give me bananas several times with no success. But today when she was eating one, I approached and squawked at her, and ate a quarter of it before it was all gone.

Josh:  Flynn and Rapunzel in the tower.

Elizabeth:  Thursday night football.  Go Broncos!

Layla:  I got to color a leaf and stick it in the tree at the library.

Joseph:  Dozing off as I study at work late at night.

Jayna:  Enjoying a yummy dinner at Zupas with Grandpa!

Dallin:  Look how many miles I hit!

Courtney:  I started reading a book after work, next thing I knew I was waking up at 8:30 p.m.  I'm confused--but luckily I woke up in time to meet the 18th picture deadline, just in time!
