Sunday, September 17th, 2017

Brian:  Relaxing after making Sunday dinner for everyone.

Kathy:  Reenacting what Eliza and I did during Sacrament Meeting.  She loved playing with the beads on my shirt . . . and sticking them in my ears!

Ty:  Sometimes at church I have to hold all of my wiggles in, but my wonderful sister and nephews helped me get them all out later. 

Michelle:  This is the only glimpse the camera got of me on the 17th.  We recorded a video for Taylor, who is in the hospital.  Eliza wanted to keep it entertaining.

 

Afton:  I put on a dance show with my sisters and cousin, Addie, today.

Eliza:  I wished all day I could ride in the wagon Uncle Josh and Aunt Elizabeth helped me and Afton build yesterday.  Aunt Jayna pushed us all around the basement.

Kathryn:  I fell asleep in the car on the way to Rigby this afternoon.

Josh:  Layla loves it when I throw her in the air.

Elizabeth:  Walking around the church after Stake Conference.

Layla:  Stopping at a bench for a second during our walk tonight.

Joseph:  I earned this 17th picture after beating Dallin in bumper pool!

Jayna:  Kathryn spent the day yelling "surprise" at me!  It never got old . . . sort of.

Dallin:  Look at the entertainment center Courtney and I purchased with some of our Target gift cards!

Courtney:  My first time wearing my Broncos shirt with Dallin!  Go Broncos!

Brian:  Back from vacation, getting caught up, and working on a high council talk.

Kathy:  Do you like my new glasses?!

Ty:  Enjoying a brief glimpse of the sun before my 4th flight of the day.

Michelle:  The one playground this exhausted pregnant lady will let her kids play in during this hot and humid Mississippi summer. 

Afton:  I like to pretend our backyard is a jungle and I'm an explorer.

 Eliza:  I have cute brown curly hair with a hint of blonde from being out in the sun for a lot of the summer.  

Kathryn:  I love pretending to be mom, even down to her usual outfit of late: pajamas.  But don't tell her I told you.  

Josh:  Layla still plays the piano with me, even with a broken arm.

Elizabeth:  After a hard morning at the doctor, we went and got donuts!

Layla:  I fell out of the shopping cart at Walmart a few days ago.  Mom and Dad were so worried about my head and back, they didn't notice that I had actually broken my arm.

Joseph:  I had an end-of-internship lunch with the actuaries I worked with.

Jayna:  Stocking up on TastyKakes because we leave PA tomorrow!

Dallin:  Driving back from Utah.  The next time I'm in Utah I'm getting married!

Courtney:  Dealing with lots of pretty flowers in preparation for the wedding!  Two weeks!

Brian:  Preparing for my sixth graduation tomorrow.

Kathy:  Both Allan and Becky are graduating tomorrow!  We went to Pizza Pie Cafe with the Hawkes and Becky's family.

Ty: Yesterday was National Ice Cream Day. We are still reaping the benefits. 

Michelle: Eliza snuck an unflattering candid picture of me playing the piano today. 

Afton: I had my first day of swimming lessons today. We got to splash the teacher.

Eliza: Doesn't everyone enjoy coloring on the bathroom floor?

Kathryn: Don't be fooled--just because I chose a fancy dress today don't make me a lady. 

Joshua:  Layla helped me buy a book about golf today.

Elizabeth:  I love playing with Layla at the splash pad.

Layla:  Driving the fire truck at the library!

Joseph:  Just another day at the internship, one month to go!

Jayna:  I have enjoyed a lot of reading time since getting to PA.

Dallin:  Finishing my health class with push ups!

Brian:  Enjoying a yummy dinner outside after working hard all day power washing the patio.  Aka, the cool of the evening.

Kathy:  Please notice how clean the windows are.  I washed them today.  I also made banana raspberry oatmeal muffins for my upcoming trip to Utah.  

Ty:  Dates with the girls today made me think about great times with my dad.  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect example of fatherhood or a better friend.

Michelle:  Grateful for my dad this weekend. He's always been my biggest fan and advocate, and his children and grandchildren are his pride and joy. He's a great example to me of putting family first. 

Afton:  I got to go on my dream date tonight. A fancy dinner and a dance with my number one man. I'm so blessed to have an amazing dad!

Eliza:  I got to go on a swimming date with Dad again! After swimming like a fish, Dad had to wake me up from my nap.

Kathryn:  Grocery shopping prior to slushies and the park.  A fun date with Dad!

Josh: Layla has turned into a snuggler, especially after nap time.

Elizabeth:  I love sitting on the step and blowing bubbles with Layla!

Layla:  Pushing the shopping cart all by myself!

Joseph:  I spent a lot of time with my niece Tess.  This morning I took the grapes off the vine and she did the rest!

Jayna:  We had a picnic with Sarah and Kevin's family.  Tess loves Doritos.

Dallin:  Trying out my new fit bit.
