Christmas Day, 25 December 2025

Brian:  TJ got woken up Christmas morning--so he wasn't quite ready to join in the festivities and needed a little snuggle time with Grandpa.

Kathy:  Team Nice!

Ty:  Look what Santa's elves built for us!

Michelle:  I am SO excited about our new power washer!

Afton:  One of my cousins gave me an office supplies/desk organization set. 

They know me!

Eliza:  Balancing on my new Giboard while reading the 

Harry Potter trivia book from Grandma and Grandpa.  

I spent most of the day with both.

Kathryn:  Afton made this wood burning for me in art class!

Calvin:  Eliza and Kathryn gave me a stuffed sloth that 

I've named Sister Sloth, and she rarely leaves my side.

Josh:  Christmas snuggles in our blanket from the Cannons.

Elizabeth:  Instantly regretting the peer pressure to put fake nails on.

Layla:  All the girls with their fake nails!

Ellie:  Tackling Layla with the biggest hug to say thank you

for the fake nails she got me.

Carter:  I got to play a sheep in the Nativity today.

Cooper:  Had to take a break after opening some Christmas presents.

I got this and hand warmers.  Jayna knows me so well!

Jayna:  We had a wonderful Christmas!

William:  My favorite present was this remote control Gecko.  

I named him Martin.

Nora:  My favorite present was the Paw Patrol aircraft carrier.

I've been asking for it for months.

TJ;  My favorite present was a new pack of binkies!

Dallin:  I didn't get any pictures of me on Christmas Day.

But here's a classic from Christmas Eve--brownies and peppermint ice cream while watching Muppets Christmas Carol.

Courtney:  Christmas dinner.

Benson:  Catch me in my new ride!

Sarah Jane:  I did not like the feeling of the head massager.

Brian:  Cutting off a chain--12 more days until I'm released!

Kathy:  I love living near grandchildren!

Ty:  Michelle snagged a picture of me during family scriptures

 because I forgot to take one myself.

Michelle:  Not sure how I feel about that white stuff falling from the sky.

Afton:  Getting ready for Christmas!

Eliza:  We've been watching chunks of Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration this week.  We finished tonight, and I got to bear my testimony that Joseph Smith was a true prophet.

Kathryn:  This blood blister popped last night.

I got it from playing air soft guns with my cousins.

Calvin:  I got an award at school today for being responsible.

Josh:  Silly faces with Layla to get pictures done before the end of the night!

Elizabeth:  Carter insisted on a scooter ride in the freezing cold.

Layla:  Taking silly selfies with Dad.

Ellie:  Happy to be tagging along for a scooter ride!

Carter:  I like my mittens.

Cooper:  I love playing I Spy with my brother. 

Joseph:  It's great having a new office!

Jayna:  The view from our new back porch is pretty darn good.

William:  What's this freezing cold Rexburg everyone kept warning us about?

Nora:  Our new fireplace makes a great stage

for me and my Spidey band to perform.

TJ:  I love "helping" Mom with the laundry.

Dallin:  Taking SJ to Urgent Care to learn she has strep.

Courtney:  We got to see these donuts being made,

and we got to eat them, too!

Benson:  I made them just like the box!!!

Sarah Jane:  Pedaling is hard.

But luckily I had Benson to help get me started!

Brian:  Watching the BYU football game.

Kathy:  Thinking about the Ben Rector concert last night.

So much fun!

Ty:  Call me Leaf Rider.

Michelle:  Round 4 of our taco matchup madness.

The food truck beat out the chain restaurant.

Afton:  Cheers to the end of a successful Cross Country season!

Eliza:  Jumping in the leaves made all the hard work worth it!

Kathryn:  Jumping in the leaves.

Calvin:  Jumping in the leaves.

Josh:  Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, a Mermaid, and Tiger Lilly.

Elizabeth: Today I flew to Las Vegas and attended the

High Fitness Halloween Howler with my friend Jurnee.

We had so much fun!

Layla:  Spinning on a tire swing with my favorite siblings!

Ellie:  I had tons of fun at the Halloween festival today!

Carter:  I'm so proud of my pumpkin.

Cooper:  I'm a fox!

Joseph:  I celebrated my mom's birthday all day today.

We capped it off watching Sister Act at Hale Centre Theatre!

Jayna:  I really don't know how moms survived before

grocery pickup and delivery.

William:  We had Chick-fil-A movie night and watched Lion King.

Of course, Simba and Nala watched with us.

Nora:  Much to my mom's surprise, I REALLY wanted

this princess nightgown that I saw at the store.

TJ:  I am getting more adventurous and 

giving my mom little heart attacks all day.

Dallin:  One of two trick-or-treating events today!

Courtney:  Anna and Elsa for the trunk-or-treat!

Benson:  I like trick-or-treating!!!

Sarah Jane:  I love pie!
